New Jersey Earth Science Association (NJESA) Gem and Mineral Show
and Outdoor Swap and Sell
This show is held the last full weekend in April.
Location: Franklin School, Franklin,
New Jersey.
Features both indoor and outdoor mineral, fossil, and gem dealers.
Other events during this show normally include:
• Special mineral sales at the Franklin Mineral Museum
• The twice-yearly "garage sale" of minerals, books, and
equipment at the Sterling Hill Mining Museum
• Saturday night banquet and auction
• Mineral collecting, both days at both museums
• Saturday nighttime mineral collecting at Sterling Hill (by advance
reservation only)
June
Nighttime Mineral Collecting at Sterling Hill (Museum members only)
Held the third Saturday of the month.
Hours: 7:00pm - 10:30pm
Fees: $5 admission plus $1.50/lb for
all material taken
September
Franklin Gem and Mineral Show and Outdoor Swap and Sell
This show is held the last full weekend in September.
Location: at the Franklin School, Franklin,
New Jersey.
Features both indoor and outdoor mineral, fossil, and gem dealers.

Nighttime Mineral Collecting at Sterling Hill (Museum members only)
Held the third Saturday of the month.
Hours: 6:00pm - 9:30pm
Fees: $5 admission plus $1.50/lb for
all material taken
